The first ever Fall Maple Open House Weekend held Oct. 1-2 in Woodstock

Oct. 1 – 2 — WOODSTOCK — As the leaves turn vibrant shades of orange and gold, you are invited to celebrate Vermont’s sweetest product as a way to take part in The Maple 100 and the first ever Fall Maple Open House Weekends, happening statewide.

Join Bourdon Maple Farm during The Maple 100 where the farm will be offering tours and tastings from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. every Saturday and Sunday until Oct. 15 with extended hours during Fall Maple Open House Weekend. Bourdon Maple Farm will teach you how maple syrup is made, from the forest to the sugarhouse, and why pure Vermont maple syrup is the best in the world. Sample their delicious organic maple syrup at the sugarhouse and cozy up around the campfire to enjoy Vermont’s spectacular foliage. Feel free to walk through the sugarbush on the trails and enjoy the fresh autumn air. There will be cider donuts and hot apple cider for sale along with plenty of maple syrup to bring home to friends and family.

Fall Maple Open House weekends take place on Oct. 1 – 2 and Oct. 8 – 9, and Bourdon Maple Farm will be offer the same activities (and more to come) with extended hours from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Bourdon Maple Farm invites you to join for a Sunset Sugarbush Tour on Oct. 9 at 5 p.m. on the eve of a full Hunter Moon to learn how maple syrup is made, from tree to bottle, and how the farm manages the forest to ensure its continued ecological health and resilience for generations to come. The day will end with a hike with a campfire, s’mores, and sugaring stories. $5 per person; kids 12 and under are free.
