Stone carving workshop offered in West Rutland

June 6-10 — WEST RUTLAND — Work with the very substance of the earth itself in “ Stone Carving ” with Jim Zingarelli, June 6-10 at the Carving Studio and Sculpture Center. This workshop will serve as an introduction to the subtractive methods of one of our oldest sculptural traditions. Participants will conceive and complete an “in the round” sculpture in marble.

Jim Zingarelli received his BFA degree from Pratt Institute in 1975 and has been teaching art for over 15 years. His experience, combined with natural grace, wit and good humor, make him one of the Carving Studio and Sculpture Center’s most popular instructors.
