Have you ever been to a wedding and when you get to the part where the priest or celebrant announces, “Speak now or forever hold your peace,” you anxiously await the potential unfolding drama and excitement? I sure do!
I always imagine a former lover and the bride’s true love, busting open the church doors and whisking her away in a passionate embrace, much to the shock and dismay of the groom and guests while I grin like a Cheshire cat, applauding ferociously.
You may arrive at a “speak now or forever hold your peace moment this week,” where biting your tongue for the sake of contentment rather than honesty only creates a war within yourself. Negotiations are possible, but not if you miss your opportunity to follow what is right and true.
Action not taken this week has the potential to turn toxic over time, which could bring feelings of bitterness and resentment.
This week brings the end of Venus’ solar cycle as she then dips into her least favorite sign, in preparation for an eclipse. It’s a week of turning points in diplomacy of which there is no turning back. Fear everything and run.
Face everything and rise. The choice is always yours.
