Sales of ‘Fair Haven Memories Book II’ are steady

The Fair Haven Historical Society would like to thank their friends and neighbors for their support in purchasing “Fair Haven Memories Book II.” The book came about following requests from local citizens to report on other aspects of our history including sports and local architecture. Deedee Bruce joined Ceil Hunt and Lorraine Brown and shared much of her research and oral histories from the south side of town. The book includes little known facts from the Historical Society’s collection as well as the history of many of the downtown buildings.

The book is available at the Fair Haven Historical Society, located in the Fair Haven Town Office, on Monday mornings from 9-11 a.m. You can also leave a message at the office 802-265-3010 ext. 8 or contact one of the authors. The cost of the book is $35. One of the highlights of the book is the many included photographs. Many of these photographs are in color. The books will make wonderful holiday gifts.
