Rutland Red Carpet Concierge program seeks volunteers

The Chamber & Economic Development of the Rutland Region(CEDRR) is continuing to move forward with the regional marketing initiative, Real Rutland. The campaign is designed to attract individuals and families from across the country to move to Vermont, specifically to Rutland County. After a pause in the marketing efforts as a result of the pandemic, the initiative is geared up and ready to start advertising the hundreds of available jobs in Rutland County. As a result, CEDRR is seeking additional volunteers to participate in the Rutland Red Carpet Concierge program.

The Rutland Red Carpet Concierge program was created as an aid to those interested in moving to the greater Rutland area. The program allows a personal connection to be formed between a concierge and the prospective individual or family. This connection is one that is welcoming, supportive, and unique. The role of a concierge is to guide the process of moving, finding a place to live, a career or careers, identify social group opportunities and ultimately, make Rutland County feel like home before they have even arrived.

When a new lead indicates they are interested in learning more about Rutland County, they are added to CEDRR’s personalized funnel system. This system allows them to be matched with a concierge based upon demographics, life stages, interests, and hobbies. The personal match provides the individual interested in learning more with their very own guide to all things Rutland County.

Concierges bring a wide range of different perspectives on what our area has to offer, and CEDRR is  looking to expand this network into an even larger, diverse group of strong individuals who are passionate about this region.

CEDRR currently has about 25 active concierges as volunteers who are committed to this region and are excited to welcome new individuals and families to our region.

Concierges could also volunteer through Real Rutland in additional ways such as helping write blog posts and staff the online chatbot through its website.

“We know there are many more individuals throughout our region that share this same passion and we are asking for your help to continue to help make this region an even better place to live, work, and play,” the CEDRR board wrote in a recent news release.
