Rachelle Farrow to be featured at Castleton Downtown Gallery

Friday, June 3 at 6 p.m. — CASTLETON — The Castleton Downtown Gallery in Rutland will feature the works of local artist Rachelle Farrow running from May 25 through June 25, with an artist reception scheduled for Friday, June 3 at 6 p.m. Entitled “Prohibitions” the exhibit will feature a variety of works created using recycled or used canvases.

“My prohibitions are circles on squares and the old paintings I used are rectangular, thus leaving a portion of the original painting still visible,” explained Farrow. “I call this kind of painting REpainting.”

The Castleton Downtown Gallery is located on Center Street Alley in Rutland and is open Wednesday through Saturday with hours of operation from 11 a.m. – 6 p.m.
