Playing the long game

By Cassandra Tyndall

This week brings the feeling that a battle has been won, but the fight is far from over. As both the Sun and Mercury enter bright and exuberant Sagittarius, a return to optimism, faith and hope may provide the artillery you need to continue.

Like anyone weary from battle, time is required to process what happened as the experience shapes and informs you. In each of our lives, the past two years have brought forth some type of battle — large or small, some of which have been won, while others were lost.

This week offers the chance to ponder how your life has changed and how that has prompted a shift in your outlook and philosophy on life. Perhaps you’re standing up for what you believe in. Perhaps you’re not sure what you believe in anymore. Maybe you’re looking for faith in places you never expected to find it.

As the Sun and Mercury pass over the South Node, it may be time to let go of some preconceived ideas about how you thought things should be. When you can slay that dragon, you naturally become what could be, and that, my friend, is where real hope stems from.
