Pico Ski Club announces annual ski and snowboard swap

Oct. 3-5 — KILLINGTON — The Pico Ski Club’s annual Ski & Snowboard Swap and Sale is coming up Oct. 3-5 to the Pico Mountain Base Lodge. This annual event benefits the Pico Ski Club, including the racing programs and the more than 175 club participants, ages 6 and up.

New and used skis, snowboards, clothing, snowshoes and equipment for kids and adults—from the recreational snow sports enthusiast to the seasoned racer—will fill the upper and lower levelsof the Pico Base Lodge for this annual event. The Pico season pass office and the Phat Italian will also be open throughout the swap weekend.

A huge selection of new and used equipment, filling three floors, from Killington Sports, First Stop Ski Shop/Snowboard Barn Shop, Peak Performance, Aspen East, Basin Sports and Sound Barrier will be available, along with consignment clothing and equipment from Pico Ski Club members and the public.

Major credit cards, cash and local checks will be accepted for purchases. Look for Super Sunday bargains on the last day of the sale, Sunday, Oct. 5.

Ski/snowboard swap sale hours are Friday, Oct. 3, from 5 to 9 p.m.; Saturday, Oct. 4, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.; and Sunday, Oct. 5, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Consignment drop off information

The Pico Ski Club will accept consignments of gently used, clean ski, snowboard and athletic clothing (no street clothing, please), and modern alpine and snowboard equipment. All equipment must meet current safety standards. Consignments will be accepted during the following times at the following locations:

Wednesday, Oct. 1, from 4 to 6 p.m. (Pico retail shop)

Thursday, Oct. 2, from 4 to 6 p.m. (Pico Base Lodge, Sunshine Room)

Friday, Oct. 3, from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. (Pico Base Lodge, Sunshine Room)
