Peter Rabbit to make appearance

Saturday, April 4 at 9 a.m. — WEST PAWLET — A spring flea market and Easter food sale will be held in West Pawlet on Saturday, April 4 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sponsored by the West Pawlet Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, the event will be held at the fire station, located on Vermont Route 153 (Main Street). All are welcome.

Auxiliary member Edna Winot said that the Easter food sale will offer many homemade items including rolls, pies, cakes, decorated Easter cakes, cupcakes, cookie platters, baked beans, Polish nut rolls, and lots more! A family fun day for the children, including face painting, will be available all day long. At 12:30 p.m., Peter Rabbit will make an appearance and gifts will be given to the children.

The Ladies Auxiliary kitchen will also serve a light breakfast and lunch during the day.

The Ladies Auxiliary will also have raffles for a ham dinner, an Easter item, and a 50/50.  Tickets are $1 each, and winners will be announced that day. Need not be present to win.
