Mike Coppinger resigns from KPAA

In a letter sent on Tuesday, June 16, KPAA Board President Hannah Abrams announced Mike Coppinger has given his resignation to the KPAA.

The reason for Mike’s unexpected departure is that he received an unsolicited job offer for a position as GM at a business in the greater Killington area that is of great professional interest and growth to him and is also very beneficial for him and his family. He will be taking on his new roll in approximately four weeks which will allow us some time to receive and review resumes for his successor. As soon as we can, we will let you know where Mike will be.

We are happy for Mike and his family for this growth opportunity and we hope that you will join us in being happy for him and congratulating him on his new endeavors. While we will be sad to see Mike go, he has made a dedicated and impactful contribution to the growth and stability of the KPAA over the past few years. Mike has grown our membership and sponsorships along with improving our two signature events; The Killington Wine Festival and the Vermont Holiday Festival. The Board is grateful for the time that he worked with us and shared his many talents, dedication and vision with the KPAA.

The job opening will be posted on our website and on various employment sites by the end of the business week and review of resumes and interviews will begin as quickly as possible.
