Manipulate glass in two-day workshop

April 16-17 at 9 a.m. — WEST RUTLAND — The Carving Studio and Sculpture Center offers a two-day workshop “Fusing and Slumping Glass” with Angus Munro, April 16-17, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Instructor Munro reveals successfully fired glass forms, to the delight of participant-creators.

Glass is a beautiful and fragile material to work. It can remarkably imitate any of the plastic mediums, but nothing can duplicate glass. Participants will create the ideas for a sculptural work, design a form, and follow through to completion. Fee of $325 includes materials and use of equipment.
