Killington hosts a jam-packed weekend featuring wine, music and a bridal show

Wine

Three days of mountain wine events start Friday night, July 15, and continue until Sunday, July 17  at Killington Resort. The Killington Wine Festival celebrates its 15th anniversary this year with representatives from 30 wineries and distributors pouring hundreds of wines and spirits from around the world.

Music

On Saturday, July 16 at 3:30 p.m. , the New Rhythms and Blues Quartet (NRBQ) hits the summer concert stage for a free show at the Snowshed Adventure Center. This event kicks off the town of Killington’s 7th annual Cooler in the Mountains summer concert series.

The New Rhythm and Blues Quartet is a world famous American rock band founded in 1966. The band is well-known for the spontaneity of its live performances, incorporating elements of rock, pop, jazz and blues.

Cooler in the Mountains concerts are free, family-friendly events scheduled on Saturday afternoons from July 16 until Sept. 5. The concerts take place at Killington Resort’s Snowshed Adventure Center.

Bridal show

Thursday, July 14, at 6:30 p.m. the 10th annual Rutland Summer Evening Bridal Show will be held at the Killington Grand Resort Hotel & Conference Center. Many local vendors will be there showcasing their goods and services, and offering give-aways.
