Frustrated with Bridgewater’s elected officials

Dear Editor,

I read with interest and disappointment your lead article on the controversy at the Bridgewater Select Board meeting.

The disappointment is that we did not expect our local government to emulate what sadly enough we are seeing on the national scene.

One would think that the simplicity of the issues and the immediate ability to effect change would make decisions easier and more civil. Apparently not the case.

I have resided on Bridgewater Hill in Bridgewater for some time and always marveled at the care and attention that Randy Kennedy and his successor have paid to the road. This by the way being one of the few benefits the 10 plus residents receive, since few if any children attend the school systems.

In summary I would hope that the personal issues are put aside and attention will be paid to those issues which improve life in Bridgewater.

Joel A. Kobert,

Bridgewater
