First-time car show comes to Rutland

Sept. 18 at 9 a.m.—RUTLAND—Verschluss presents “Eurobuilt,” sponsored by Sam’s Euro Shop, on Sunday, Sept. 18, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. at the Vermont State Fairgrounds in Rutland. The show is open to all Volkswagen, Audi and European cars, along with a special enthusiast area for non-Euro cars (limited to 140 spaces).
Verschluss is pleased to be able present this first year show with the support of our friends and fellow enthusiasts. The goal is to grow the show into a full weekend event and fill the fairgrounds with car enthusiasts looking to enjoy each other’s cars, appreciate the effort and hard work that is put into them, and have a nice laid-back day of spending time with friends new and old. The show is expected to bring several hundred car enthusiasts from throughout New England.
The show will also feature a benefit auction for Foundation Blue. Foundation Blue is a non-profit organization started in memory of Alexi deRochambeau, known by many near and far in the VW community who passed away unexpectedly. The goal is to keep his legacy alive through the community by helping those in need.
The cost to show cars is $20; spectator admission is $5 per person. Show cars and spectators will enter on Dana Avenue.
