Feature film documents life on the river in Cambodia

Saturday, Jan. 17 at 3 p.m. — WOODSTOCK — Billings Farm & Museum will host the award-winning film “A River Changes Course” on Saturday, Jan. 17 at 3 p.m. as part of the 5th Annual Woodstock Vermont Film Series.

“A River Changes Course” is the story of three families living in contemporary Cambodia, as they struggle to maintain their traditional ways of life as the modern world closes in around them. The film is subtitled, and is not rated. It garnered awards: Sundance Film Festival, World Cinema Grand Jury Prize, seven additional wins, two nominations.
