Experience the region’s Dim Sum of Yoga with Thrive Center

Sunday, Jan. 31 at 2:30 p.m. — WALLINGFORD — Experience the joy of restoring movement to all areas of the body while learning how to unravel the restrictions produced from daily life with six different yoga instructors in the Thrive Center’s “A Winter Spring Sampler: Yoga Classes & Workshops.” Sessions take place on the following Sundays: Jan. 31, Feb. 7, 28, March 6, 13, and 20. The classes and workshops are open to those who are new to yoga, as well as experienced yogis.

The yoga sessions will start at 2:30 p.m., except March 20 (see below), and will be held at the Wallingford Elementary School Gymnasium, 126 School Street / Route 140 East, Wallingford.  The fee is $10 per class; $20 per workshop. Pricing is subject to change.

The March 20 workshop will be a “field trip” held at Therapydia, 155 Woodstock Avenue, #2, Rutland, from 10 a.m.-12 p.m.

Dress warmly for movement; bring a mat, blanket, and water. A portion of the proceeds will directly benefit the Wallingford Elementary School Winter Sports Program, as well as the Gilbert Hart Library.
