Drum Journeys seeks skellies

Saturday, Sept. 24 at 10:30 a.m.—RUTLAND—Drum Journeys of Earth will hold a Halloween parade planning meeting on Saturday, Sept. 24, 10:30 a.m.-12 p.m. at Rhythm Hall, 2nd Floor, Bldg. 5, Howe Center, 1 Scale Ave., Rutland. Drum Journeys of Earth and its students are widely known for leading the Rutland Halloween Parade as the Drumming Skeletons.
No prior experience is needed. If you can walk, you can be a part of this parade. For those with special skills, organizers are specifically seeking carpenters, lighting pros, seamstresses, artists and more. For the special “floor show,” they need jugglers, magicians, rollerbladers/skaters, stilt walkers, fire-breathers, unicyclists, puppeteers and more.
If you’re interested, don’t wait—please join the meeting or contact Gary Meitrott at 802-282-2581 or GaryMeitrott@vermontel.net.
