Community Christmas celebration featured at Ludlow auditorium

Friday, Dec. 16 at 7 p.m.—LUDLOW—In keeping with tradition, FOLA (Friends of Ludlow Auditorium) put up the annual Christmas tree on the stage of Ludlow Town Hall’s Auditorium recently. The tree was decorated by FOLA members and friends. It will be featured on the stage of the auditorium throughout the Christmas season which will be highlighted by the annual Community Christmas Celebration on Friday, Dec. 16 at 7 p.m.
This annual Christmas celebration features the music provided by area school students along with contributions made by area residents. This year the Ludlow Elementary School (LES) will offer the music of its students in a holiday mood along with the choral and band music from students in Black River Middle/High School. Directing these activities for the schools are Claudia Pawlikowski, LES, and Katherine Herrle, BRMS/HS.
Joining in the celebration will be Sharon and Bruce Farr, supported by Jon Clinch, in a playlet version of O’Henry’s famous, “The Gift of the Magi.” Lisha Klaiber and Samantha Holberg will provide additional Christmas music with Linda Thomson adding a humorous reading. George Thomson will emcee the program.
The event is free and open to everyone. For information, call 802-228-7239.
