Come Alive Outside offers two outdoor passports this winter

Come Alive Outside is thrilled to announce it will have two outdoor passports available this winter.

The Rutland County Winter Passport will be distributed to elementary schools in Rutland County this month and will be available to download (print and fold) on comealiveoutside.com on Dec. 18.

The Winter Wellness Passport for adults will be available in January to worksites and the substance use recovery community. We have intentionally chosen nature-related activities for this passport that aim to reduce stress and anxiety as well as to inspire folks to get active outdoors in the winter months.

The first priority is safety and it is important to follow the most current Covid-19 state guidelines when deciding which passport activities are right for you and your loved ones.

Although these passports were made with our Rutland community in mind and have some hyper-local activity suggestions in them, there are enough “on your own adventure” activities for folks near and far to be able to enjoy the health and wellness benefits of the outdoors and earn prizes without venturing beyond your own backyard.
