Chaffee opens annual full house exhibit, “What is Love?”

Friday, March 6 at 5 p.m. — RUTLAND — In Chaffee’s yearlong celebration of love, the Chaffee Art Center’s annual Full House Exhibit will, through art, attempt to answer the question – “What is Love?”  Is love tender and kind? Is love maddening and scornful? This exhibit features the diversity of five Chaffee Juried Artists: Mary Alcantara, Sue Carey, Don Haynes, Melissa Kristiansen, and Liliana Paradiso, and their diverse interpretations of what love is and what it can be.

The exhibit will open Friday, March 6 at the Chaffee Downtown with an opening reception from 5-7 p.m. Light tapas and beverages will be served. The exhibit will remain open through May 9. The Chaffee Downtown hours are Tuesday through Friday, 12 – 6 p.m. and Saturday, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
