Castleton Woman’s Club resumes monthly gatherings

Wednesday, Oct. 12 — CASTLETON —After two years of a “pandemic pause” the Castleton Woman’s Club has planned a year of interesting, educational, and entertaining programs to welcome back members and guests. The club meets on the second Wednesday of the month at the Old Medical Chapel on the Castleton University campus.

Meetings start at 12 p.m. with buffet lunch prepared by club members. The lunch is followed by a meeting and the program starts at 1 p.m.

The Castleton Woman’s Club meeting Wednesday Oct. 12, “How PEGTV Can Help You” will feature Sarah Nadler, marketing and communications coordinator at PEGTV, who will talk about their mission to entertain, disseminate information, ensure freedom of speech, and improve the quality of life for citizens of the Rutland region. The “P.E.G.” in PEGTV stands for public, education, and government. PEGTV reaches 20,000 homes in Rutland County and enjoys massive community involvement.
