Castleton hosts ice cream social, Wednesday

Killington Music Festival musicians are featured guests

Wednesday, July 13 — CASTLETON — The Castleton Community Center will hold an ice cream social on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. This year the evening will feature not only students from the the Killington Music Festival, but also their teachers who are international, professional chamber musicians on July 13.

The ice cream social starts at 6:30 p.m. and the concert starts at 7 p.m. Please come early to park and receive your sweet treat courtesy of Stewart’s Shops.

The Killington Music Festival is in its 40th season and is the only resident professional classical music organization in central Vermont. Each summer students gather at Killington from institutions such as the Juilliard School of Music, Boston Conservatory, The New England Conservatory, The Manhattan School of Music, Peabody Conservatory, Eastman School of Music and the University of Arizona. The Castleton Community Center is delighted to have incredibly talented musicians from the Killington Music Festival provide an evening of outstanding music right here at the Center.
