Carving Studio and Sculpture Center hosts resident interns

WEST RUTLAND—Resident interns at the Carving Studio and Sculpture Center enhance their art education with hands-on learning and interaction with professional sculptors from around the world. While assisting workshop instructors and participants, they experience a wide array of sculptural techniques and aesthetic outlooks.

Each winter, the CSSC conducts a competitive, nationwide search for serious students of sculpture to be resident interns through the summer workshop season. Selected for 2015: Leah Aegerter, Rhode Island School of Design (Providence, R.I.); Alycia Bren, University of North Florida (Jacksonville, Fla.); Kyle Dotter, Keystone College (LaPlume Township, Pa.); Cyrra Robinson, Evergreen State College (Olympia, Wash.); and Samuel Spellman, Gordon College (Wenham, Mass.).
