BRGNS to hold spring rummage sale

May 19-21—LUDLOW—Black River Good Neighbor Services will hold its annual Spring Rummage Sale at Fletcher Farm, 611 Route 103 South in Ludlow Friday and Saturday, May 19-20, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. and Sunday, May 21, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

The sale will feature clothing, housewares, books, linens, furniture and more.

“We’ve been stockpiling good quality items for several months and will have something for everyone,” said Audrey Bridge, executive director of the organization. “We will have the tables piled high and the prices marked low. We can always use more merchandise, but we can also use volunteers to help set up and staff the sale, and lots of people to donate baked goods for the bake sale. New this year, we will have a grill set up and lunch items available for customer purchase including hot dogs, hamburgers and maybe more.”

Black River Good Neighbor Services holds a spring and a fall rummage sale each year to sell gently used items donated by the community. Proceeds from the sale are used to purchase food for the food shelf or are used for financial assistance programs in the community. BRGNS also runs a thrift store at 37B Main Street in Ludlow, behind the Ludlow Community Center.
