Brandon Free Public Library opens used book sale

Wednesday, May 4 at 4 p.m. — BRANDON — The Friends of the Brandon Free Public Library will open its used book sale in the basement of the Library on Wednesday, May 4 from 4 to 7 p.m. The sale will be open every week on Wednesday evening from 4 to 7 p.m.; and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m  on Friday and Saturday through mid-October.

Books are arranged by type and subject. There is both hard-cover and paperback fiction, non-fiction of every description, and books for children, toddlers, and young adults. There are special sections devoted to gardening, cooking, how-to and do-it-yourself projects. All of the income from this sale is given by the Friends for the purchase of books and other materials and to help underwrite special projects for the Library. For the month of May, all hardcover fiction, priced priced at $5 or less, will be half price.
