Biker injured in Killington crash

On Aug. 15, 2021, at 10 a.m., troopers from the Vermont State Police — Rutland Barracks were notified of a two-vehicle crash on Route 4 Killington.

Through investigation it was determined Stuart Green of Morrisville, Tennessee, was operating a Chevy Silverado traveling east on Route 4, intending to turn left into a pull off to do a U-turn. Paul Couris, of Center Ossipee, New Hampshire, was operating a motorcycle, traveling east on US Route 4. Green began turning left and Couris struck the left passenger door of the Silverado. Couris suffered a broken ankle and wrist, and was transported to RRMC by Regional Ambulance Service.

The Vermont State Police were assisted on scene by Regional Ambulance Service and Killington Fire Department.
