Big purse up for grabs at premier rail jam

Saturday, Dec. 17 at 8 a.m.—KILLINGTON—Killington Resort has recently received some fresh powder, just in time to bring back the annual Rails 2 Riches park jam on Saturday, Dec. 17. The events will be held on Lower Bunny Buster at the K1 area.
Competitors will drop in on an exclusive, custom built rail venue in an attempt to snag a piece of the $25,000 cash purse. Those who have what it takes to impress the judges will walk away with ultimate bragging rights for the season. Come watch the action unfold as top athletes battle it out under the lights.
Check-in will be held in the third floor of K1 Lodge, from 8-9:30 a.m. for snowboarders; 11 a.m.-12 p.m. for skiers. The competition runs from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. on Lower Bunny Buster, with the latter part of the competition being held under the lights. Athletes can break for lunch from 1:30-3 p.m. Awards will be held in the park at 6:15 p.m.
Prizes will be awarded to first, second, and third place men and women, skiers and snowboarders. During the finals, judges will be awarding 10 of the biggest tricks with $100 bills.
