Barb Watters hits the gavel in another year of the Great Brandon Auction; bid generously

Tuesday, July 19 at 4 p.m. — BRANDON — The 28th annual Great Brandon Auction takes place on Tuesday, July 19 at 4 p.m. in Brandon’s Central Park. Previewing begins at 2 p.m. This is the one auction not to miss this summer! Bring family and friends along with chairs to bid.

The auction offers antiques, collectibles, new merchandise, services, original art, and more, with surprises and treasures from attics and barns. There will also be lots of gift certificates to dozens of state and local businesses including restaurants, museums, fuel oil, massages, dinner for eight at a beautiful inn and so much more. Find new merchandise from many local businesses. Other donations include dressers, beds, tools, art, chairs, bookshelves, gardening items, TVs—all great items for dorms and apartments. Household goods and furnishings including collectibles, books, kitchen gadgets, children’s items, box lots, and much more. There will be the usual selection of interesting and eclectic items, and original art from Brandon’s artists.

Auctioneer Barb Watters will be hitting the gavel. Food will be available by Brandon Lions Club.  It’s rain or shine, under the tent if need be. Vermont State sales tax will apply to all purchases excluding gift certificates. Cash or good check will be accepted.
