All-4-One takes downtown stage Aug. 5

Friday, Aug. 5 — RUTLAND — Friday Night Live continues to rock downtown Rutland with free musical performances featuring Grammy Award winning All-4-One Aug. 5 at 5 p.m. on Center Street.

“The first Friday Night Live event had a great attendance,” said Tiffany Saltis, executive director of the Downtown Rutland Partnership. “We’re excited to keep that momentum going, and All-4-One is the perfect performance to do just that.”

All-4-One will take to the stage in downtown Rutland around 8 p.m. The Grammy Award winning R&B group is internationally known for making timeless love songs that not only chart radio airwaves but also garner countless awards.

Attendees will be able to sing along to their signature songs “I Can Love You Like That” and “I Turn to You” all night long, making your nostalgic 90s dreams come true. Their hit “I Swear” still holds a spot on Billboard’s “Hot 100” as one of the most successful singles of all time and has been named as one of the greatest love songs of the 20th Century. To date, they have released a total of seven albums and sold over 20 million units.

Opening for All-4-One around 6:30 p.m. is the popular Rutland musician Cammy Errington, a 25-year-old artist born and raised in Vermont. She sings mostly pop but adds other genres to her sets to appeal to a wide ranging audience. Her love for music dates back to her preschool years, and she credits her parent’s VHS of Fleetwood Mac’s “The Dance” 1997 concert as her first introduction to music and the start of her passion. In the summertime, you can find her at Taso on Center on Fridays.

In addition to live music, partake in outdoor dining and shopping at the Center Street parklets, plus a variety of offerings from food trucks, play giant games, and visit vendors.

This is the second of three Friday events downtown. Badfish kicked of the series July 22 and Dean Ford & the Beautiful Ones: A Tribute 2 Prince! will close out the series Aug. 19. Evenings kick off at 5 p.m. with the main musical acts starting at 8 p.m.
