Killington Resort hosts 2018 Women’s FIS Ski World Cup, Nov. 23-25

Nov. 23-25—KILLINGTON— Killington Resort, the largest ski and snowboard destination in eastern North America, will host the FIS Ski World Cup Nov. 23-25, for the third year. The World Cup will bring the best women’s technical Alpine skiers in the world and offer entertainment, movie screenings and more – all free and open to the public.

Free musical performances will take place each day of the weekend featuring Paul Oakenfold, KT Tunstall, Michael Franti and Guster. Additional entertainment includes the World Cup Festival Village, fireworks, parades and a Friday night bib draw featuring top athletes.

Entertainment will kick off on Friday, Nov. 23 with Paul Oakenfold, English record producer and trance DJ, three-time Grammy Award and two-time World Music awards nominee; Saturday, Nov. 24 will continue with KT Tunstall, Scottish Grammy and BRIT Award winning singer-songwriter; and Michael Franti, American musician and lead vocalist of the band Spearhead. Sunday, Nov. 25 will close out the action-packed weekend with Boston-formed band Guster, who met during freshman orientation at Tufts University and have had songs on Billboard 200 and Adult Top 40.

Along with hosting the Audi FIS Ski World Cup, Killington will be open to the public for skiing and snowboarding during the weekend events.

The ski races and concerts are free and open to the public. A limited number of tickets for premium viewing areas for the Giant Slalom and Slalom races and preferred parking are still available for purchase. For additional information, visit killington.com/worldcup.
