Saturday, April 9 at 12 p.m. — PLYMOUTH — Join the Coolidge Foundation on April 9 for a spring open house at the Coolidge Museum & Education Center at the President Calvin Coolidge State Historic Site in Plymouth. Walk through the quiet village where Coolidge grew up, returned to, and was sworn in as our nation’s 30th president. Stop in at the award winning Plymouth Cheese Factory.
The Coolidge Museum & Education Center will be open from noon to 4 p.m. At 2 p.m. Carolyn Frisa will share her expertise in a talk, “Preserving Family Archives.” Head Conservator and owner of Works on Paper, Frisa will tell how to care for paper-based objects in family or museum collections. Guests are invited to bring a treasured print, letter, photograph, or other work on paper, with questions about caring for and storing.
