Local flips car in attempt to avoid deer, not injured

CHESTER — On Feb. 14, at approximately 1:43 a.m., a single vehicle crash occurred on Route 103, near Cutoff Road (Proctorsville Gulf), in the Cavendish, Vt. Driver, 20-year-old Emily N. Chambers from Chester, Vt., was traveling south on Route 103 when she swerved to avoid colliding with a deer and traveled off the roadway.

The vehicle rolled at least one complete rotation and came to rest on all four wheels.

Chambers was able to exit through the rear window on her own. She was wearing her seatbelt and reported no injuries.
