KILLINGTON — At about 9 p.m. on Aug. 19 Killington Fire and Rescue, Killington Search and Rescue, and the state police were dispatched to a report of two missing hikers in the area between Alpine Drive and the Pico Ski Area. They were able to locate two children that had called 911 on the Sherburne Pass hiking trail. The lost parties were uninjured and were taken out to the trail head without incident. There Regional Ambulance checked the hikers before they were reunited with their parents.
