Winter story series held at VINS

Dec. 21, 11 a.m.—QUECHEE—This December and January children and their families are encouraged to join VINS for a read-aloud story series. They will be reading four captivating children’s books: “Kate Who Tamed the Wind” by Liz Garton Scanlon, “Extra Yarn” by Mac Barnett, “Stranger in the Woods” by Carl Sams, and “Over and Under the Snow” by Kate Messner. Programs will feature a picture book read aloud by one of the educators, a craft and a live animal encounter.

Dates are Fridays, Dec. 21, Jan. 4 and Jan. 18, from 11 a.m.-12 noon. The reading is included with general admission to the VINS Nature Center.
