Vermont Humanities Council presents program in Belmont, “A Terrible Beauty”

Sunday, March 20 at 4 p.m. — BELMONT — Anyone interested in Ireland and its rich history won’t want to miss the Mount Holly Town Library’s next Vermont Humanities Council program, “A Terrible Beauty.” Presented on Sunday, March 20 at 4 p.m. at the Mount Holly Town Library, speaker Vincent Feeney, author, historian and educator, will speak about the 1916 Easter Rebellion. At this 100th anniversary of that watershed event in Irish history, Mr. Feeney will discuss the circumstances surrounding the rebellion that left most of its leaders dead or imprisoned.
