Union Church of Proctor holds open house

Saturday, May 23 at 9 a.m. — PROCTOR — The Union Church of Proctor will hold an open house on Saturday, May 23, in conjunction with the Vermont Marble Museum’s grand opening the same day. The sanctuary and parish house will be open from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. with the public invited to view the church’s architectural features and to hear informal presentations on the history of its multiple stained glass windows created by Louis Comfort Tiffany and Charles J. Connick. There will be multiple activities demonstrating the varied community outreach efforts, a continuously running slide show presentation, accompanying children’s art activities, and a clothing and bake sale in the Parish House from 10 a.m.–1 p.m.
