The Vault has upcoming art opportunities for kids

Learn to make a portrait of a favorite pet, or person, in a drawing class for kids this Saturday at the Vault.

Saturday, May 28 at 1 p.m. — Register by May 25 for a drawing class for kids being held at the Vault in Springfield. Learn to make portraits of your favorite human or beast with illustrator Christine Mix on Saturday, May 28 from 1-3 p.m. The class is open to children ages 10 and up.

Kids are encouraged to bring in photos of their best friend, sibling, parent, or other cool human, or their favorite pet or a friend’s pet, to turn into a portrait that they can take home and share. Participants will use pencils, pens, colored pencils and watercolors. There is a suggested donation of $10.
