“The future is bright for us, so put on your shades and let’s move forward,” said Jenn Lewis and Alex Sabo, who then put on sunglasses to end their speech. Lewish and Sabo addressed their fellow Green Mountain College classmates graduating from the Killington School of Resort Management (KSRM) during the graduation ceremony held Saturday, June 4, at Mountain Meadows Lodge in Killington. The Class of 2016 chose Lewis and Sabo to speak on their behalf.

Killington Resort President Mike Solimano, GMC Provost, Vice President of Academic Affairs, and  Professor of Education Thomas Mauhs-Pugh and the newly selected President of GMC Bob Allen also spoke at the event.

Graduation celebrations across the region have inspired students — pre-school through graduate school — as they embark on their next chapter of life.
