Sanders to stay an independent if he makes 2018 run

Sen. Bernie Sanders said Sunday he would run for the U.S Senate next year as an independent, not as a Democrat. On Monday, the senator sought to downplay his weekend remarks and claimed he had not decided yet whether to run.
