BUDDY GUY

Friday, Nov. 6 at 8 p.m. — RUTLAND — Guitar great Buddy Guy makes a visit to Rutland, for a performance at the Paramount Theatre on Friday, Nov. 6 at 8 p.m.

It’s rare to win a Grammy, and many consider it a great honor to even be nominated. Buddy Guy has six, and this year he collected something even more rare: the Lifetime Achievement Award. And it’s easy to see why – his career is as long and storied as his contemporaries, who include the great BB King and the legendary Muddy Waters. His new studio album, “Born To Play Guitar,” features songs dedicated to his old friends – Van Morrison joins Buddy on the heartfelt “Flesh & Bone,” dedicated to the late great B.B. King ,and Guy reminisces about the good ole days with Muddy Waters on “Come Back Muddy.”

Tickets are $59.50 – $99.50, and available at the Paramount Box Office at 30 Center St., Rutland; by calling 802-775-0903; or online at paramountvt.org.
