Six-sibling band, Santa Croce takes the Fair Haven stage

Thursday, Aug. 14 at 7 p.m. — FAIR HAVEN — The Fair Haven Concerts in the Park will be welcoming six siblings to the stage at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 14. The Santa Croce Band will be performing for the ninth in a series of 10 summer concerts.

This group of family singers has been performing since 2011, but has been singing alongside their parents since childhood. In addition to these six brothers and sisters, there are three younger brothers who have found creative ways to make their presence known on the band’s recently released CD.

The musicians, Brittany (24), Rebecca (22), Olivia (18), James (16), Robert (15), and Gregory (12), make up the band and are recognized for their vocal harmonies. In addition to their vocal abilities, they play a variety of instruments including guitar, mandolin, bass guitar, drums/percussion, tin whistle and native flute. The band plays a mix of folk and rock and have a few compositions of their own.

The Fair Haven Concerts in the Park are free and family-friendly. Bring your lawn chair any time after 5 p.m. to the park. Refreshments are available. The concerts go on rain or shine; inclement weather location is the Fair Haven Baptist Church located at the south end of the park.
