Santa Mamba returns to Cooler in the Mountains

Latin Rock Collective to perform at Cooler in the Mountains Concert Series

Saturday, Aug. 27, 3:30 p.m.—KILLINGTON—Santa Mamba will once again return to the free Cooler in the Mountains concert series on Saturday, Aug. 20, 3:30 p.m. Rock, salsa, reggaeton, funk, bachata, disco, bolero—all of these elements can be found in Santa Mamba’s unique Latin Rock sound.

Formed in Rhode Island, band members come from diverse backgrounds, from small American towns to Latin American nations. Together, they share what each has learned from a life of loving and studying music. Santa Mamba was recently nominated as Live Act of the Year in the 2015 New England Music Awards. Between the band’s 2012 studio album “Mother Culture” and their high-energy shows that are sure to ignite dance floors, Santa Mamba has gained a loyal multicultural following throughout the country and beyond.

Cooler in the Mountains concerts are free, family-friendly events scheduled to start at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday afternoons. The final installment of the Cooler in the Mountains concert series is on Saturday, Sept. 3, featuring the Rustic Overtones, a seven-piece rock band from Portland Maine.
