Rochester Chamber Music Society features jazz, opens Suzuki Institute week

Sunday, July 10 at 4 p.m. — ROCHESTER — The Rochester Chamber Music Society will present a lively and jazzy concert on Sunday, July 10 at 4 p.m. in the Rochester Federated Church. The program includes Kenji Bunch’s “Swing Shift Suite,” Piazzolla’s “Four Seasons Trio,” and Ravel’s ever popular “Tzigane.” Feature performers include Julia Salerno, violin; Ben Gish, cello; and Cynthia Huard, piano.

This concert marks the opening week of the Green Mountain Suzuki Institute, a nationally ranked Institute located in Rochester offering violin, viola, cello, flute, piano, fiddle playing and many fun and creative electives. Now in its 13th year the Institute draws teaching staff and students from all over the United States and Canada.
