Sunday, Aug. 10 at 4 p.m. — ROCHESTER — The Rochester Chamber Music Society will present violinist David Greenberg of the group Red Priest, joining forces with cellist Abby Newton (a frequent accompanist to Jean Redpath), on Sunday, Aug. 10 at 4 p.m. at the Rochester Federated Church. This powerhouse duo will be joined by soprano Mary Bonhag; double bassist Evan Premo; and pianist Cynthia Huard. Greenberg is known for his imaginative and dynamic performances of traditional and early music, and Newton, with her band Ferintosh, draws a wide audience with performances that touch the heart and soul.
