Thursday, July 7 at 6 p.m. — KILLINGTON — The Killington Parks & Recreation Dept., Sherburne Memorial Library and the Sherburne Friends of the Library as part of the town of Killington’s River Road free summer concert series is excited to announce the upcoming schedule of performers. Summer concerts will begin July 7, continuing Thursday evenings through Aug. 18, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Sherburne Memorial Library on River Road.

Schedule:

July 7 — The Twangtown Paramours returns to the concert series with a blend of thought-provoking lyrics and angelic vocals from accomplished musicians.

July 14 — Moose Crossing Trio is a band of self-proclaimed “misfit jazz musicians,” playing classic and contemporary jazz music.

July 21 — Aaron Audet Band plays a variety of popular high energy cover tunes from the 60s up to the current bands of today. The band members all have 20 or more years experience playing in various groups. Members include Jeff Poremski on lead guitar; Chris Johnson on bass; Ross Edmunds on drums; and Aaron Audet on vocals and guitar.

July 28 — Chad Hollister Band is back again for the 4th annual Chili Cook Off. Hollister’s music is a voice for the positive and reminds you that life is truly a gift as is the ability to share it through music.

Aug. 4 — Bondville Boys have been playing hard-edged bluegrass throughout Western New England since 1990. The band plays a large assortment of music, including original tunes.

Aug. 11 — Phil Henry Acoustic Trio returns for its second year. Phil Henry is that rare contemporary folk artist who will impress crowds from every direction. There’s his sweet and strong voice, that intricate and flawless guitar work, and songs so rich and sweeping, listeners will wish they wrote them.

Aug. 18 — Last Train to Zinkov is the finale performance. With violin, viola, banjo, and vocals, David and Nathan Gusakov, father and son, create sparkling folk music that reflects their love of traditional Appalachian old-time gypsy jazz and Swing.
