The Plumb Bobs open the fall season at Tinmouth’s Old Firehouse

Friday, Sept. 9 at 7:30 p.m.—TINMOUTH—Tinmouth’s Old Firehouse fall season of entertainment opens with local Tinmouth band  The Plumb Bobs on Friday, Sept. 9 at 7:30 p.m. with some colorful music and songs. The veteran musicians can play most anything, so the set list is quite unpredictable. While they all write songs, they also play Irish, Hispanic, roots Americana, and gentle rock music. Listening to them can be a music education with very modest tuition.
The Plumb Bobs are Marcos Levy, who plays acoustic guitar, lead and backup vocals and one song on the accordion; Jonathan Czar is at home on the electric guitar, mandolin, and vocals, lead and backup; Aaron Schneider plays electric bass; and Tinmouth schoolteacher Mary Barron sings and plays the fiddle in half a dozen traditions.
The Old Firehouse is at Mountain View Road and VT Route 140 in downtown Tinmouth. Doors will open at 7 p.m.. There is a suggested donation of $10 to $15, 90 percent of which goes to the performers. Homemade desserts, coffee and tea will be available. Donations for them will help support community activities.
