Norman Williams hosts Ken Gloss for lecture on old, vintage books

Wednesday, May 25 at 4:30 — WOODSTOCK — Join Ken Gloss, proprietor of the internationally known Brattle Book Shop in Boston, for a talk about the value of old and rare books at Norman Williams Public Library on Wednesday, May 25 at 4:30 p.m. Gloss, who is also a frequent guest appraiser on PBS’ Antiques Roadshow, will speak about the history of his bookshop (brattlebookshop.com), which goes back to around 1825. In addition to his lecture, Gloss will answer questions from the audience, and publicly appraise a book or two in detail. After his talk, he will do free appraisals of books, letters and manuscripts.
