PEGTV names 2013 scholarship winner

RUTLAND - The PEGTV Scholarship Committee is pleased to announce that Aubree Trombley of Rutland is the 15th recipient of the $1,000 PEGTV Courcelle Scholarship. Trombley is a senior at Rutland High School and a member of the Stafford Technical Center Video Production and Multimedia Communication Program. Aubree has plans to attend Castleton State College majoring in Cinematography and Filmmaking. Aubree is the son of Russell Trombley of Rutland.

The Courcelle Scholarship is awarded annually to a Rutland County high school senior who has exhibited a high level of proficiency and interest in the video arts and intends to pursue study in the communications field at an accredited college, university or trade school.
The PEGTV Courcelle Scholarship honors the memory of Joe Courcelle for his pioneering work for local public access television. Joe Courcelle was an active member of the original board of directors, a dedicated independent producer and an integral part of the establishment of Rutland's PEGTV.

PEGTV is comprised of Channels 15, 20 and 21 and is available to all cable subscribers throughout Rutland County. Streaming programming, video on demand services and hyper-local weather forecasts are also available online at www.pegtv.com.
