CSJ and Stafford Technical Center have entered into an
articulation agreement, whereby college credits are awarded for
academic work students successfully complete at Stafford in Public
Safety Services.
"This agreement builds on our already strong connection to
Stafford and further strengthens our partnership," CSJ President
Richard Lloyd said.
The agreement allows high school students enrolled in the Public
Safety Program at Stafford to take up to 30 (one year of full-time
status) credits of college coursework that can be transferred to
College of St. Joseph should they attend as a full-time student in
pursuing an associate degree or bachelor degree in criminal
justice. This agreement reduces the amount of time to complete an
associate or bachelor degree and the cost to students and
families.
There will be a ceremony at 11:30 a.m. on Jan. 3 in the
Clementwood Mansion on the CSJ campus, where the agreement will be
signed by Lloyd and Stafford Technical Center Director Lyle
Jepson.
"The relationship between Stafford Technical Center and the
College of St. Joseph is an excellent model of public and private
school collaboration. Stafford Technical Center greatly appreciates
the support provided by the CSJ administration and faculty," Jepson
said.
