Ludlow woman driver collides with deer

On Monday, April 8, at approximately 7:44 p.m., the Vermont State Police investigated a single vehicle collision on Vermont Route 131 near Thrasher Road, in the Town of Weathersfield, Vt. Upon arrival, trooper Sergeant Michael Studin observed that a red Subaru Legacy collided with and killed a deer. The operator of the vehicle, Kathleen Grant age 55 from Ludlow, who was wearing her seatbelt, was uninjured and was able to drive the vehicle away. Her Subaru sustained minor damage to the right headlight, bumper and quarter panel. The deer was taken by Ronald Bingham of the Town of Weathersfield.
